the visit to giza zoo

i broke my record because this year i am not going to the book fair at all. laziness got the better of me.

to visit the zoo was in our lists of "things to do in winter break" and we were excited to go there because we found out via google that you can take pictures with the lion cubs and other animals!

and since then, we said, "die die must go and take the picture with it okay!!!"

and take the picture with simba we did. ;)

hei manusia, tak habis habis lagi ke? i penatlah asyik kena pandang kamera je.

and because i am very show off liddat, nah another one!

there is nothing much to shout about the giza zoo. we were the only two malaysians there causing the egyptians families to stare at us most of the time. we might even be the first malaysians to go there you know considering the fact they all were staring at us like we are some jakuns.

but then encik gedik said maybe they were staring at him only because i could pass as a egyptian wtf.


basically the animals there are mostly from the africa region.

what a very classic infomation board. handwritten some more okay!

got elephants, lions, gloria and moto moto hippopotamus, and those you can find in a safari. i only snapped like what? two pictures of the animals only.



but the environment is not what a zoo is supposed to be about. egyptian treat it as some mini park for picnic to spend some family time together.


and the kids treat it as some place where you can feed the dogs with orange peelings.

seriously people. orange peelings. for the dogs.

see the girl with the painted face? that's one of the activities for you to get done there.

and also they suka suka climbed into the empty cages and played in there. :|

we didn't spend much time in there. the only purpose for us to go there is to take the pictures with the lions only hahahaha. after we found the lion house, we just sat down and waited for our pictures to be printed.

20 minutes later our pictures were done and we headed to tahrir to have our lunch and hunted for camera shops because encik gedik wanted to find an extra battery for his camera but no luch haih. oh ya, i bumped into two friends of mine there!

and that's the end of our day. i ended up with blisters all over my right foot thanks to my stupid sneakers. i shall not wear thou anymore.


...ever. HMPH!
