it's rozario's day today

i went out the whole day (and skipped the last lecture of physiology but then metabolism has only like what? 18 pages to be read so...) to celebrate mother's day with The Parents. wah for the first time in the past three years i could celebrate mother's day with my mom by my side! literally of course!! be jealous please wtf.

and if you are wondering what's with the title, rozario was the name i told a certain someone (jokingly of course!) when he asked me what's my mom's name last time wtf. damn kenot tahan i know.



fortunately the traffic was okay since it is not a weekend in egypt. i know it sounds weird but we are indeed having sunday as the beginning of a new week here. and to make it better, today is not a mother's day in egypt so the place is not infested with mother-daughter celebraters (wtf?). they celebrated it last march if i am not mistaken. :)



we headed to wagamama's (wagaMAMA geddit? geddit?) since The Celebratee (wtf?) had chosen/decided to have japanese lunch today! hello ramen it's been a long time since i last saw you wtf and that was way before i found out i was infected with chicken pox wtf.


introducing MummehPink and DaddehPink (wah not bad ah the name, maybe i will refer to them like that from now on wtf)! okay i know this picture looks like as if they are not looking at each other (in not a very good way wtf) but this is merely a candid shot wtf.

and then the food arrived!


nigame yokitori! or grilled chicken, capsicum and spring onion drizzled with yokitori sauce.

DaddehPink went for chicken chili men which imo should be name chicken tomato men because it didn't taste like there was any chilli in it AT ALL wtf.


while i chose ebi chilli men because goddamit how i miss having seafood especially prawns and calamari since the day i had chicken pox wtf. T____________T


and MummehPink went for chilli chicken ramen! which somehow tasted like a fusion between noodle soup and prawn mee.

and of course, what is a celebration without a cake right!


we had the chocolate chilli mousse cake with vanilla ice cream. which i didn't know there is chilli inside it at first wtf because when i ordered it i didn't look at the menu properly. so when i first tasted it i was like, "eh why it got a tinge of hotness wan" wtf.

eh btw, i think wagamama has one tranny waitress because seriously she sounds like a man wei when she greeted us wtf.

and if you are wondering, yes i made my parents waited until i managed to get a nice shot of those food because i have nothing to be blogged about! seriously. and even if i do, i always have something else to be done at the moment and when i am free i will either eat something (that explains the weight gain wtf) or play games (zuma deluxe is so addictive seriously!) or sleep the afternoon off (bad eye bags since overdosing on sleeping).

that explains the one week post-free period.
