for some unknows reason mostafa el nahas street¹ was fucking congested tonight until no taxi wanted to take me to sabiek for my tuition class and i had been fucking trying to flag a cab for an hour.

i had flagged down like 15 cabs (actually it was more than 15) and all of them refused to take right after i said "sabiek". in fact 7 of the taxis - even those metered ones - quickly stepped on the accelerator and left me without a word as if sabiek is some constagious epidemic spreading all over the world wtf. damn angry okay.

not even when i offered them twice money from the usual taxi fee which is 5le.

not even when i quoted them thrice the usual taxi fee.

and desperate times called for desperate measure wtf. and it is a well known fact that when one is desperate they would do the unthinkables.

on in my case, the stupid unexpected thing wtf.

since i had lost my patience and tired of hailing any passing cab for almost an hour and the class had begun already, i decided to walk towards the middle of the street where i saw an empty taxi coming, quickly opened the door, got inside and said to the driver, "50 egyptian if you shut up your mouth and drive me right away to sabiek through the shortest possible shortcut ever from here."

so today, i finally learnt that money indeed buys everything wtf.
