introducing PinkBook

so this is the main reason why i did close my blog down yesterday. because i was tweaking the whole blog layout with this new facebook alike one!

so cool right? i know. :P

all began when i accidentally stumbled across a website randomly last evening and it was love at first sight. and after thinking for like hours i finally decided to change it. because honestly, i really love my old look but the skull is so not me right now.

i am now a grown, matured woman wtf.

anyway, right now i am 90% satisfied with what i managed to change (the color, theme, hue etc) but there is still one thing i am trying to figure out - the part of the html code for the sidebar title and also how to change the stupid black figure avatar that appears on top of every post!

okay, fine. two things.

anyway, today we (we as in my mom, gedik and i) went to get the flight tickets straight from the headquarters. initially we planned to buy it from a certain someone but due to some circumstances we cancelled with that fellow. trust me, i was this close to blogging about it last night without any censorship of names and events but since i was too tired i decided to save it as draft first and today when i opened it again, the bitching mood wasn't there anymore. haha. maybe another day because i don't like to leave things done halfway.

anyway, from there we decided to head to citystars for harry potter! second time for me and mom and first time for gedik! and both of them complained to me the movie was boring wtf. now you two ganged up against me lah is it. oqwkslakmkcasknxaks.

okay fine i recycled the same pic from this post but who cares! the point is i watched it twice already and going to do it again and again and again until i am sick of dumbledore's death wtf.

anyway i've looked at the archives at my sidebar and for the past few months there are lack of updates. 5 posts per month is considered as blog neglection already ok wtf. so as an afford to make up for that (personally of course), here are some pictures showing what i have been up to these past few weeks after i am done with my exams.

ice cream at venezia's. carvel beats them anytime with much nicer and varieties of flavours. venezia's is all about the presentation while carvel is all about having nice flavour! for me, i will always go for flavour.

anyway, for the past two weeks or so, been going all over the place for shopping spree with mum. and also eating at various places in between. that explains the non-stop expanding waistline and chubby cheeks. and i am going back to malaysia reeaaaaaaaaaaaaal soon which means bad news since there are malaysian food!

le sigh! why do all the nicest food comes with ridiculous amount of calories?!

rule of love #1

the first rule of love is to accept the person you (think you) are in love with and also all those persons that he/she loves.

i ain't blind to see what's written all over your face. and let's face it, it was so obvious that you were pissed because you were pushed. but that didn't give you any license to act all rude with the elders. or for that matter, someone who is in my close family circle. it's not a question of who's right who's wrong but a question of Respect.

sure, i was pushed a few times before but i still know where i stand in the hierarchy of age. i know where's the limit. i know where's my line and how i shouldn't step over It.

remember, the first rule of love is to accept the person you are in love with and also all those persons that he/she loves.

third time lucky

because after sitting for the exams for the third time (oh the irony! sitting the same three papers for three times to enter the third year wtf) i finally passed every subjects! all three of them!

actually i knew my results a day earlier since i couldn't stand to wait for another 24 more hours so i succumbed to wasting my money by calling the lecherous university 1188 line. 1.50le per minute wtf. and it was in arabic WTF.

so i tried to call for like 10 times trying to figure out what the machine actually said. and then another five times trying to figure out which key to be pressed to enter faculty of medicine.

so all in all i used like 30le FML.

but why shouldn't i be anxious with my results?

because i had been having a loooooooooong streak of bad lucks for a loooooooooong period of time since last march! and trust me by "looooooooooong" i mean it to be reeeeeeeeeally long wtf.

from the process of converting me to a new program at my college and having mr. s refusing to accept my application for it for no logical reason(s) at all, getting infected with chicken pox ten days before my first practical which was biochemistry, and then when i got recovered from that, some new issues popped up half an hour before my last practical exam which was physiology, the late fees paying, getting two different infos regarding my exam venue and the last one regarding the extension of mom's visa... obviously, i would - and should - be scared in case the bad luck decided to fuck up my results also!

but at least i didn't go cuckoo with all that pressure and stress lah. i am a strong woman wtf.

anyway, all is good. so, say hello to the spanking brand new third year student aka me!

potter love

i went to watch harry potter on the first day opening! and i reached the cinema ten minutes after the ticket counter was opened and to my utter horror, all of the best seats were taken and half of the semi-good one also gone already. but since this is a "must watch" movie for me, i had to settle for those on the sides one. :(

but nevermind! i plan to go watch it again since it's harry potter! le sigh. i used to have stupid teenage crush on daniel radcliffe but as i grow up, i prefer snape more now because he actually acted like a snape unlike daniel radcliffe who only got to feel his character after few movies. but he was good in this one lah.

1. my favourite scene was when harry drank the felix felicis (liquid luck) to get the memory from horace slughorn with the help of hagrid. hahaha he was so cute when he did the pincers hand thingy together with the sound!

2. my favourite female character (based on the movie) is still luna lovegood.

3. sorry to all of those draco fans out there but tom felton should stop playing draco. he looks so... old.

4. since jk rowling let out that dumbledore is gay i couldn't help but think that he got something for harry since he always tried to protect him wtf. so everytime he asked harry to hold his hand for apparation in this movie i couldn't help but to think that he was enjoying himself wtf.

5. half blood prince is my one of my favourite harry potter movies together with the prisoner of azkaban and order of phoenix. the first and second one can simply go down the drain because it sucks big time. goblet of fire wasn't that memorable although the it did (and still does) make me cry during the scene where harry returned to the maze with cedric.

it has been nine years since i first watched philosopher's stone and in two more years the last one is supposed to come out. after that there will be no more harry potter in cinema. :(

my second movie review - love and other disasters

the movie is so unusual (might not be the most suitable word but who cares?)!

seriously.

i would never have thought of watching a movie involving gays as their characters (although that might be a good point because it meant more delicious and good looking men!) but this movie is just awesome.

let me rephrase that. it. was. awesome. (you know how adding more fullstops to your sentence injects more drama into it? heh.)

and again knowing how i rarely do movie review(s) in my blog (i only did it once before) so you know how hard i am too please (bad news to the guys out there wtf). actually, no. i am only lying about the "hard to please" because shove any chick flicks under my nose and i swear i will love you forever wtf.

but for them to make it into my blog? it's hard. okay, i think i just make my blog sounds so "atas" wtf.

no spoiler, synosis and all those shits because there is always google and imdb for that. now here are the top three reasons (personally of course) why you have to watch it!

the audrey hepburn element:


when i first saw emily jackson (brittany murphy) with her make up, all i kept thinking was:

1. audrey hepburn.
2. why is she so audrey hepburn.
3. why is her character is so trying to be audrey hepburn

turn out she (emily jackson or jacks) loves audrey hepburn! and me too! but of course, not as much as emily.


i mean i like audrey hepburn and her style but not to the extent of knowing all the facts about her and stuff and obsessing with her. and i always loves those 60s/70s era and style (is this the audrey hepburn era? see. i am not sure but in short, i love oldies and classic stuff. the end)

(god, this makes me sound like i am an audrey hepburn wannabe just because it's cool to try to be her wtf)

okay to make it easier for you to understand let me compares audrey hepburn with the beatles. i adore audrey hepburn but i am obsessed with the beatles. there. easy enough for you to differentiate now isn't it? (seriously it couldn't be anymore easier than this but then girls are complicated creatures so..)

i am putting the S into the men because they are so many of them and they are extremely good looking (and delicious too if i may add)! but none of them beat jim sturgess lah of course. although iman a bit tak kuat when i saw paolo wtf.


okay how i wish to get a male BFF like the guy above! not because he is good looking (although he is) but because how he layan-ed jacks in the movie. i want a gay male friend to massage my feet after a long day and listen to me when i need to rant too. :( you know how they say having a gay male as your friend is like having a sister? :(

which is fucking addictive! it was featured during the endings by the way. currently i am still trying to find the full album to the OST without using torrent (fat chance wtf) because i don't really like torrent. i prefer to use rapidshare or megaupload. but till now i only managed to find fantastic. :( well at least i am lucky enough to find my most favourite song in the movie.

here comes the sun

initially this post was supposed to be titled as the second half only. but since i have all the time in the world right now so i've decided to tell a bit of story out of each picture. (okay, "lot more" of stories is more appropriate i know, fine. i know sometimes i kinda got carried away typing a long ass entry and bored you outta your pants reading posts of mine. i think i just got carried away lalalala wtf. see! i am writing more in bracket compared to the first two one and a half two sentences! okay okay i shall stop now. here comes the penutup kurungan. haha omg what do you call it in english? i mean the penutup kurungan. oh wait i think i am getting carried away again wtf)

okay.

so where was i? oh about having all the time in the world right now. that's because i am done with my finals! woohoo. fastar celebrate with me, come we joget together-gether around the campfire wtf.

let us starts with this:


#1 my baby blog has reached it 20k unique hits since the first day it runs! sigh. :') i know it is still far off from some of those popular and semi-popular blogs out there but i am proud to have reach 20k unique hits anyway. *bragging wtf*



#2 i bimbofied my phone after doing the same to my camera a year ago! actually i did it right after i am done with my biochemistry exam but i forgot to post this picture in the previous post. and i must say i did a better job this time compared to last time *proud*. better but not perfect. still i am proud of my artwork. :')

and the fake crystals only costed me like 20le. that's like less than 10% from the price for a full skinjam crystal cover! hah! go to hell with skinjam and its swarovski superiority wtf. (but then, if i got that amount of money for sure i go for skinjam lah).

i am planning to do the same if i got myself a prosumer (sorry gedik but a bimbo is truly a bimbo at heart hahaahaha) and a new notebook or any gadget.


#3 oh how long since i have savoured those friday's fried mac n cheese. they (mac n cheese wtf) are the definition of Love i tell you, LOVE wtf. okay and so are shoes. and jim sturgess. and pink (the colour not the singer wtf). and chic lits. and comedy romantic movies. and jim sturgess (oh did i already mention him?) and... okay you get the drift.


#3 the old lecture hall! this is where i sat for all the three papers. damn. it has been more than a year since i stepped into it and oh my how i have forgotten (harhar you can use the kacang lupakan kulit peribahasa here thank you wtf) the bad condition of the seats and tables in there after getting used to the comfortable green sofa chair in the new lecture theater. in fact i got a broken seat for my first paper but couldn't do anything to change it since my student number was placed there. :( and also because i couldn't actually pull out the seat what! vandalism wtf. so it was like see saw-ing all through answering those anatomy questions.


#4 seriously there is nothing to be told about physiology and also because i don't want to. enough of reading and studying the same thing for two years!

okay there are more pictures in my camera regarding the second half but i am just to lazy to transfer it into my notebook. and currently my notebook is almost full and trust me, "almost full" is really an understatement because there are like 118MB space left for me to keep any files. FML.

so everytime i want to watermark my pictures (because i am anal like that) i have to connect the card reader with my notebook and open only one picture at a time, watermark it, save and upload it. then i will delete the saved, watermarked picture from the notebook to make sure there will enough space for another one wtf.

don't let me start on the slowness of this notebook because if i do you sure hear me rant non stop till next next next morning and even by that time i am only half done wtf.

i am thinking of getting an external HD seriously but i am procrastinating in getting one. and the price? okay lets not talk about the price of computer stuff in egypt. le sigh. am currently thinking whether to chuck this notebook and get a spanking new one or what. decision decision!

oh for the past two months or so i have been using "SAYA STRESS" as my msn nick. and it did annoy some people. "why are you stressing everyday?" question had been thrown to me quite few times which i chose to ignore because i was damn busy preparing for the finals.

so fret not people. say goodbye to SAYA STRESS girl and hello to Ah Pink again. i am recycling/reusing some of my old msn nicknames. last time i always have new ideas for cool nick until someone suggested that i should compiled all of them into a book together with my statuses wtf. because i changed them quite frequently! like once a week or something.

but nowadays no more lor. what does this mean?! am i becoming a more boring person? :(
