auc's bookstore is the shiznit yo!

few days ago i got to know through this Orang Tua's blog that there is an ongoing book fair here in cairo at american university cairo (auc) and there are 20-60% discounts for all the books there but obviously don't put much hope on getting the 60% one la. all false hope one wtf since most of my purchase only gets 20% reduction max. i think the 60% discount is only for old books wtf. the kinds that old people read nia.

but the place is so damn niceee. it reminded me of MPH and borders and kinokuniya back in malaysia except that it is quite small. but still it beats virgin's anytime because the ambience there damn nice. no annoying songs blasting through the speakers. and there's a small coffee corner as well but since i don't drink coffee that is not really important. not to me anyway but since i want to make this post longer so oh well nyeh nyeh nyeh.

andddd i know i know i have 500LE/month challenge going on right now but this is one off event i promise. after all it felt like it had been eon years ago since i bought one new book. let alone shop FML. so obviously this one is not going to be counted into the challenge.

so what's total damage of my purse for today? 375 LE. and that was in less that 3 hours. i think i have found my talent. i am good at spending. yes, that is so gonna go into my resume.

but that's for like 7 spanking new chick lits! which means one only costed me around errr... 53.57LE! which is like super cheap right? honestly, the average price for a chick lit here is around 65LE! so i did save a lot of money by going crazy there this evening.

oh and lets throw in my favourite quote from becky bloomwood, "it's an Investment!™"nyeh nyeh nyeh wtf.

#7 lepak-ing on the floor scouring through the mytery section looking for 21: bringing down the house and i didn't find it. T_T so i decided to just sit there and filter all the books i randomly took out from the shelves so that i wouldn't go overboard with my budget.



#7 muka dah nerd tapi buku fail. hahaha. (okay gambar cejjo ada dua sebab pertama saya sayang cejjo extra wtf dan kedua sebab abang ayep ada orang banjar tu frust menonggeng dia tak join datang petang tadi so terlepas mahu jumpa cejjo hahahaha.)

and afterwards we headed to hardees to have our lunch + dinner before our tuition.


#8 hahhaahaha look at her face's expression! damn focused like answering some exam questions one wtf when actually she was just filling the survey form with stupid comment like "MORE KETCHUP PLS" (it's an inside joke between the four of us hahahahaha).

had lots of fun and i laughed like hyena until the neighbouring tables turned to look at our table when cejjo's told us a story from her childhood.

okaylah i am damn nice so i am going to share with you the story but i am not sure whether you will get the joke or not because i am a bad story teller.

you know right when you listening to the radio or watch a show on the television, the host will say at the end of the show something along the line "thanks for watching/listening" right? when cejjo was a kiddo, she used to wonder how on earth the host/ deejay knew she was watching/ listening to them. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

i have heard sooo many stupid childhood moments and stories. and trust me, i do have mine but this one really pwned everyone of them (including mine) big time.

cejjo oh cejjo. memang you terbaik!
