since big bro is home for the merdeka's holiday, mummehpink's decided to whip up magic in the kitchen with everyone's favourite dish! so today's berbuka menu will be masakan kampung. the parents went out earlier this morning to go to pasar tani to buy all these stuff while yours truly was still... errr comfortably snuggling in her bed.

but but i did help in the kitchen with the cookings, and cuttings, and stuff!!!

ikan jelawat salai masak lemak with belimbing muda and daun asam gelugor!
lots and lots of ulam variety with mom's legendary sambal belacan!
kerabu kaki ayam with generous dash of lime!
and also ikan bakar coming right up later!

oooh i am already drooling as i am typing this.

and not to forget on an unrelated note, happy merdeka everyone! since #iheartmalaysia has been flooding my twitter homepage today, so i joined in the bandwagon and here's mine:

since i am out of things to blog about and also i have no interesting encounter(s) nowadays - not even a stupid security guy ever come across my path ever again for years - and also i am feeling super sleepy right now but i don't feel like taking a nap because i will have difficulty to sleep during the night and that sucks because night time is for sleeping time and i hate to screw up with my biological clock and yes don't you dare rolling your eyes at me at my biological clock anality wtf, what are you doing huh huh staying up so late? no need to go school or working early morning the next day huh?

i am up to pretty much nothing nowadays. i think the fan has a better and more interesting life than me wtf. at least it is contributing to the world by keeping us all cool and sweatless wtf.

and also a friend of mine complaint to me in a phone call yesterday that all she saw in my blog is food pictures. so lets put together lots of meaningless, random pictures i have been taking out of boredom all over the places hohohohoho

#15 my first try at this bokeh thingy. actually i am a failblog dot com when it comes to photography wtf. when i first uploaded it to my 365 album in facebook, a junior asked me all the statistic for this picture with the super duper photography jargons (aperture, iso, shutter speed blablabla) but when i snapped this pic, i didn't think of those stuff! -_- i just simply use the "try and error" method by randomly pressing the up and down button wtf.

in fact, i still don't get all those symbols and letters meaning that keeps appearing on my camera screen!

so yeah, who's up to teach me all these photography theory.. like properly?

(pre) raya ramblings

i am done with the shopping for the upcoming raya (i think :P). unless you know there's some last minute emergency buy. like the last minute "omg must have pair of jeans because it makes my legs look longer" (not that i am short or anything ahem). or "omg die die must buy this handbag or else i will die". or the "omg if i have this shawl, my life is so complete and i can die peacefully liao" wtf.

you know, the occasional buys here and there. you get what i mean, MommehPink? :P

anyways...

i found the perfect black high heel (5 inches baby!) to replace my old one which i already threw away when i was in cairo last july. in my defense, the heels were totally too old - 2 years plus okay! - and some of the black satin were torn. so yeah... *defensive*

and also i have 90% bought all my facial stuff today in watsons for my one year stock to be brought to cairo. yes lah i damn mengada right bringing lots of junks from malaysia when actually i can try to use some of the local brands in egypt. i think i shocked the cashier because my total mounted up to rm500++. oh well, divide the amount into 10 months and you get rm50/month and that's totally normal! right right? *wink wink* and also that doesn't beat my last year amount which reached like rm700 something wtf. don't ask. a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

okay dah tak tahu nak tulis apa.

my eyes are heavy right now they can close any moment and my legs are super sore from all the walkings i did today.

i love going to this park very, very early in the morning. not only there will be very few people, also i get to enjoy the sunrise all by myself.

oh if you asked me, what's the one big difference jogging in the morning in malaysia compared to cairo?

the answer is so easy.

the absence of the smelly stench coming from the rubbish by the roadside. heaven wei!

i am back!!!! had safely landed to my bolehland this evening at klia. oh happiness!

actually i am still too tired from all the cleaning and packing i had done in the past few days, so right now i am aching all over my body. my eyes are sleepy but i am still adjusting my biological clock so oh well, jetlag sucks okay?! T___T

needless to mention, yours truly is so kiasu at heart so die die no matter what must update blog tonight!
