i am a 22 years old female who is living in cairo. and obviously i am the owner of this blog. on the net, i am mostly known as Pinksterz and sometimes as Cik Merah Jambu™ as well.
currently i am student who is doing a medicine and is already in her clinical year. two years ago, i used to brag about how my university never gave me any assignments and it was all about attending lectures. but since the day i joined their special teaching programs for foreigners, i am doomed with having exams on weekly basis and assignments keep pouring in as like cats and dogs.
and to answer you question, yes i still have to go through another two and half year to be a qualified doctor so you might want to consider being extra nice to me from now on.
sorry to dissapoint you, but i don't post my picture online. ever. so if you have to many extra time in your hands, feel free to try and search for them. you will only face dissappointment i assure you. same goes with my name. i prefer to call myself (or be called) pinksterz or pink, for short.
no, not pinkie. or pinky.

and to answer your other question on why i don't like to put my pictures online?
easy, it's because i don't want to.
i blog not because i want to be called The Hottest Blogger Chick but just because i can. and also because i think my life is interesting enough for me to waste some space from the internet and also your bandwidth. yes i am self obsessed cause i am cool like that.
and since this is the post that is supposed to be giving you an idea about me, here goes some random facts about me.
#1 i like pocky sticks, eating peanut butter straight from its jar, trying out new detergents, cooking, new car air cond smell, ribena, jim sturgess, galaxy's flutes (it's a chocolate in egypt), ice lemon tea, and nice smelling men.
oh wait i don't like nice smelling men. i love them.
#2 apart from that, i think google is my greatest saviour and i don't think i can't survive life's trivial matters without it. one of the most memorable help i got from google is "how to kill a gecko" to which he suggested me to pour a boiling water over the gecko. the gecko is now a happy resident in the world up there. *points to the sky*
#3 i can never have enough pens. every week i need to pay the stationery shops a visit (or two) because i keep misplacing them all over the place. such thing can be applied as metaphor to my life too as i always misplacing my emotions all over the place albeit at a very wrong one.
#4 i enjoy listening to oldies and i am an avid fan of the beatles. but i never really know all the names of the band members or any of their history. i only found out last week that john lennon was shot dead years ago via google (see? google helps me A LOT). i also enjoy listening to ballads and some acapella numbers. i love innuendo and indigo songs.
#5 i get cranky when i don't get enough sleep so if you see eye bags or dark circle around my eyes, you might want to think twice about popping the annoying question or prank you want to ask/ play on me.
but i am nice, really. because i don't bite.
#6 basically, i am a hot-tempered girl. i get angry easily but i pacify just as quickly. but unless you are one big asshole who pissed me off like no other, you might want to hold dear to your right ear. and also your limbs.
#7 whenever i am upset, i will go to the mall splurge on books. books always give me this inexplicable sense of comfort. i love the smell of a new book. i enjoy reading chick lits mostly. i am cecelian ahern's girl at heart. and a sophie kinsella's rebecca when it comes to money matter.
#8 i don't really like to think and i like to be spoonfed. i am typically malaysian that way.
#9 i am a planner. i need to know all about the what, when and where most of the times because i get agitated and freak out easily. however, i am always a last minute kind of person when it comes to my studies. i work thrice better under pressure hours before the paper compared to reading the book a month prior to the exam. but (strictly) occasionally i do enjoy being spontaneous.
#10 i have only discovered two years ago that travelling can be very fun with the right choice of companions and right choice of book because location doesn't really count. currently i am trying to save enough money for a trip am planning in two years time but that is still a plan.
